Position Announcement: CAMP SIGNSHINE DRAMA SPECIALIST: Deaf and Hard of Hearing Advocacy Resource Center (DHHARC) is a statewide advocacy, resource, telecommunications distribution, and direct service center offering advocacy, referral and community education services throughout Nevada. DHHARC has two offices in Reno/Sparks and Las Vegas. Camp SignShine is a week of fun, recreational and educational activities in a safe, comfortable, environment for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children, ages 7-19, and their siblings, and children of deaf adult
(CODA). It will be held July 25-31, 2010.
PURPOSE: The Camp Drama Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing and directing drama program for a camp serving deaf, hard of hearing campers, their sibling and children of deaf adults (CODA). Camp is a 24-hour a day, 7-day a week work environment. The Camp Drama Specialist is expected to also be available in case of an emergency when time off or half day off and is required to attend orientation on the 24th of July.

SALARY: This position will be compensated with housing, meals, and a travel stipend.
